Tug of War

It is a normal occurence for Kaylen and Nike to play tug of war with Nike's rope. I'm so glad i finally got it on video. Normally, Kayhlen is the stronger of the two, but Nike got the better of her this time.

Our New Purchase

For the last couple of months i have spent 5 to 6 days a week driving over to my parent's house and running on their treadmill. After doing it regularly for about 2 months i reached the, this is way to annoying to have to drive over here point. I have wanted my own treadmill for the longest time but always thought they were too expensive. Well, the other day my neighbor told me about this fantastic sale that Sports Authority was having on treadmills and so i convinced Mike that we had to buy one for Valentines day. So, that's how we spent our Valentines...buying a treadmill. We got it for $700 off the normal price. I just completed my first workout on it and it works great. Thanks for letting me know, April. The only downside, of course, is that now i have no excuses to be fat...i have access to a treadmill in my basement...talk about pressure!

Snowshoeing

One of my good friends from college, Stacie, is in town for a little while. She wanted to go snowshoeing up in Midway and since we really wanted to hang out with her, Diesel and I agreed to go. We did a 2 mile hike up a mountain in snowshoes. It was actually really fun, but by far the best part was getting to hang out with some old friends. My years at Southern Virginia University were some of the best years of my life. There's hardly a day that goes by that I don't think about my time there and the friends and experiences I had. I cherish those memories and I cherish any time I get to spend with those friends now that we are all old and grown up. It was great to see you, Stace!
