DUE DATE!!!

Today is my official due date and our little girl just isn't cooperating :) I have an induction scheduled for the 21st, but I would really like for her to come see us before that. Keep your fingers crossed. After hearing from several people that they wanted to see what i look like pregnant, i finally allowed mike to take a picture of me 2 days ago (stretch marks and all). You're all so lucky!

Just Cause

Mike sent these beautiful flowers to me a few weeks ago with a note that said "just cause". How cute is he?

Nike's new trick

Mike has been working on teaching our dog (who is certainly the cutest but not the most trainable animal) her first trick. She actually has it down extremely well. When we say "up" she sits up on her hind legs in a really cute position.

Nursery is Finished

I am happy to say that Mike and I have officially finished our nursery. The walls are painted, furniture is esembled and clothes, ect are all put away. As scary as it is, we seem to be ready :).

Baby Shower

My sisters threw me a great baby shower where we were fortunate to get so much of the stuff we need for our little one on the way. We were really blessed!

Snack Time

Nike likes to sit on my lap while I work on the computer...apparently we don't feed her enough because she often tries to lick the mouse.

Valentines 2008

Mike really went all out this year to make me feel special. He sent me a dozen pink roses on the day BEFORE Valentines, gave me a new 80Gig video Ipod ON Valentines, and then sent me tulips the day AFTER Valentines with a card that said "Everyone expects something on Valentines Day so I thought I would be different this year". He really put a lot of thought and effort in this year and I really appreciate it. I gave him a pair of shoes and a movie and we went and spent a night away in Salt Lake. It was a great weekend.

Cuddle Time

I woke up for one of my MANY trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night and caught Mike and Nike in a really cute sleeping position. I grabbed my camera and took a picture...Mike stayed asleep through the flash and never knew I took it, but as you can see, Nike peeked her eyes open right as the flash came. She was really sleeping on her back like this.

Island Park, ID

My parents rented a beautiful cabin in Yellowstone where we went for 4 days after Christmas. Unfortunately, Mike was unable to go because of work, but i still had a blast with my parents, troy, kiley, carrie, and nieces baylie, avrie and kenadie. We spent 4 days snowmobiling and hanging out in the cabin. If you want to know what it's like to ride on a snowmobile with me (carrie would probably warn against it) click on the video below.

Christmas

Mike must have been a good boy this year because he got the Nintendo Wii that he's been begging forever for. (or I just knew that this was the last year before we have kids so I thought I should make it a good one :))

2 Years!

On December 23rd Mike and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. Due to our schedules, we didn't really get to do anything, but I still felt and continue to feel very fortunate that he's put up with me for so long. :) We only have eternity to go!

Atlanta

In October I was able to show Mike my old stomping ground...we went with my parents, Kiley, and niece Baylie to Atlanta to visit my brothers Troy and Trent and his family. My oldest niece, Rian was baptized while we were there and this was also Mike's first visit to the south. It was so awesome to go back and to see the family.
