I like to sing songs to Kayhlen before she goes to bed and it amazes me how quickly she picks up the whole song and can sing them.

3 Year Old in the House

Today is Kayhlen's 3rd birthday. We pretended it was actually Saturday and spent a fun filled family day together. We went to the park, to lunch at chick fil a, went home and had the family come over for cake and ice cream (and presents), took a nap, went to dinner at denny's (kids eat free :)) and then went to Monkey Island bouncy houses. It was such a fun day for our little family of four to spend a lot of time together. Kayhlen absolutely loved it and has consistenly asked me when it can be her birthday again. I cannot imagine my life without kayhlen. She is such a joy and brings so much love and laughter into our home. Happy birthday baby girl!

Plex is Kayhlen's favorite Yo Gabba Gabba character...unfortunately, overnight he sweated a little bit and messed up but i was still pretty proud of myself

1 Year Later

Today is Daxten's 1st birthday. We celebrated it a few days ago when all the family was together. Dax is such a blessing to our lives. He has such a sweetness about him. He adores his big sister and likes to follow her around everywhere. He loves dancing to music. He can walk but is too stubborn to do it consistently. His favorite words :) are mamma and dadda. We love our boy so much!

We were so excited when my cousin, Michelle decided to transfer from Stanford and play her final season of bball here at the U of U. We got to go watch several games and it was so much fun. She is such a hard worker on the boards and defensively. Kayhlen is addicted to the U song and sings it all the time now. Thanks for letting us follow the ride, Mitch!

My parents rented out this gymnastic place for us all to go play at. the foam pit was really fun to jump into but really NOT fun to get out of.
